How will different future scenarios impact demand on my grid?

Render future load profiles

Using the current baseload as a starting point, simulate future demand scenarios using Monte Carlo analysis and model future 8,760 hourly load profiles at both the system and meter level.

COMPARE CURRENT VS. FUTURE LOAD PROFILES TO INFORM:

  • Demand Response Programs
  • Renewables Planning
  • Battery Storage Planning
How will my future load change?

Analyze detailed grid changes

Understand in-depth load profile changes:

  • Annual Forecasts to 2050
  • 8,760 Hourly Forecasts
  • Technology-Specific Forecasts
Grid Impact Module

Understand when & where congestion might occur, in minutes, not months.

Where is the grid demand today?

Visualize your current grid

Integrate disparate data sources (including GIS, CIS, Weather, SCADA, etc.) to create a detailed digital twin of the grid including substations, transformers, feeders, cables, and meters.

Where & when might grid problems arise?

Identify future congestion

Pinpoint network bottlenecks by assessing the sensitivity of current wires, transformers and substations to varying demand scenarios.

When & where are grid solutions required?

Create a unified view of the future problem

Present a fact-based view of potential future grid congestion to inform capital investment, strategy and grid design decisions.

EXPORT OUTPUTS TO OTHER PLANNING TOOLS & STAKEHOLDERS:

  • Capital Investment Teams
  • Grid Modernization Teams
  • Regulators
  • Policymakers
Solution Evaluaton Module

Assess the impact and cost of solutions with stakeholders in minutes, not months.

What investments do I need to make?

With regulators, identify no-regret investments for rate case applications

Optimize investments by jointly aligning future assumptions and developing the business case for potential solutions.

What are some cost-effective alternatives?

With capital teams, assess impact and cost of wire & non-wire alternatives

Evaluate if non-wire alternatives, such as demand response programs and flexibility solutions, can reliably reduce congestion and offset infrastructure investments.

Take the first step towards the future of your grid.

What existing data quality is required from my organization?

ElectrifiedGrid™ requires only a subset of GIS and meter data to get started. The
platform is built to deliver actionable insights even with incomplete or imperfect data,
using AI to identify quality gaps, fill missing information, and continuously enhance your
data over time. Data quality issues are also visualized within the platform, helping you
prioritize where more or better data is needed.

Technology adoption and load impacts are forecasted using inputs such as population
growth, economic activity, policy parameters, technology costs, weather data, and
community-level adoption trends. These forecasts are overlaid onto a digital twin of your
grid to assess future load impacts across residential, commercial, and industrial uses.
